Just Being Audrey
Happy Wednesday! I have found yet another lovely book! This time a brilliant children's book about the life of Audrey Hepburn. Being a great Icon, this is a gorgeous representation of her life and a beautiful portrayal of who she was. Written by Margaret Cardillo and illustrated by Julia Denos, this is an adorable book that has turned Audrey's life into a fairytale. I love how sweet and pretty is it, just like her! You can find it here. Love Moni!

Tucked In: For Everyone Having a Doona Day
Hello! Continuing with my recently "lovely books" search, this is my latest find. Tucked In, by Meredith Gaston is a fab book for bedtime reading! "Whether you are young or old, nimble or wobbly, tucked into bed on doctor's orders or on your very own whim, you can use your time in bed to explore your creative soul."
You will learn how to interpret dreams, what your sleeping position says about your personality and lots of other quirky things about the happiness of sleeping. It is full of playful illustrations and cute surprises! Here's it's website in case you want to know more! I hope you like it! Love Moni!

Pattern In Nature
When it comes to designing patterns and prints, each designer is inspired by something different but many people often look to nature for inspiration. Think, flowers, trees, animals... But don't limit yourself to common animal prints or floral colours! The world is full of beautiful creatures covered in unusual patterns and vibrant colours, the images below from Pinterest show some great examples of this. Get yourself and your camera to your closest Botanical Garden, Butterfly Garden or even to the zoo and get happy snapping!

She's Leaving Home
Happy Thursday! I always love being on the lookout for interesting books with beautiful illustrations and a fun different twist on them. This week I found the gorgeous She's Leaving Home by Australia's celebrity Monica Trapaga. It is basically a cookery book for mothers to give their daughters when they are leaving home. I'm not a mother and I left home a while ago so I'm not exactly the target audience, but this lovely book is much more than just that. With stunning illustrations by Meredith Gaston, this little gem of a book is a picturesque journey through the essentials of cooking. I love the way it is broken down and how it creates a sort of nostalgia through each page. I think it would be a lovely gift to give someone as their first cooking book. Although I don't think this one belongs in the kitchen. Do have a look and enjoy! Here is the website if you're interested in more info. Love Moni!

Sretsis
Hello Everyone! How about a little bit of fashion today? Last week, I was introduced to this label which completely blew me away and I just had to share it with all of you.
When it comes to fashion it is very hard to come across things that are a little bit different. Not that they're not out there, but we all know the big brands dominate the high street and boutiques are not plenty. So here is a little tip if you like feminine, chic and a little bit quirky.
Sretsis a label created by designer Pim Sukhahuta and her sisters from Thailand. Pim started the label while studying at Parsons school of Design about 3 years ago and now it has grown to be a well known fashion brand in NYC, Hong Kong and L.A.
These clothes are absolutely stunning, they use prints in unusual fabrics and have a gorgeous charm about them. You have to check out their new collection, every piece will wow you with the beautiful prints and the playful styling.
They do have stockists in the Uk, so visit their website, get inspired and enjoy yourselves! Love Moni
