Happy Friday!
The following unique prints are the work of freelance designer Pete Ware who specialises in creating 'one-of-a-kind' prints'. He personally believes that
"everyone has space in their heart for a nicely designed print. That's where I come in."
Pete uses a fantastic mixture of typography & illustration to create his prints we he can also do completely personalised. Pete also draws inspiration from the film & television industries incorporating iconic characters & famous lines into his designs. 17th and Oak's prints make for brilliant gifts for that someone who wants something different this year!
Why not to guess what film or television show the following characters are from?
You can find 17th and Oak's work on their website, Etsy or follow him on Facebook or Twitter!

Jennie Whitham
We are always super proud when we get feature one of our successful graduates of 'The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design' (the e-course) & today we are showcasing the fantastic work of Jennie Whitham, 'the name and face behind JLW Illustration'.
Jennie graduated from Leeds College of Art in 2012 with a degree in Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design. She recently joined us on the e-course which 'allowed Jennie to expand her portfolio as well as push the boundaries of Surface Pattern'. Jennie's love of florals & geometric pattern lead her to combine the two to create designs that are 'bright and inviting'.
Jennie has work published in a Surface Pattern book, entitled, 'PatternBase', based around the popular blog with the same name. The book is due for release early 2013.
Jennie is currently looking for Freelance and Licensing opportunities, to work around her family lifestyle, please contact her here: jennie_whitham@yahoo.co.uk
You can also keep up with Jennie on her blog, visit her on Facebook or shop her designs on Etsy.
