Beauty Breakdown / / Cheeky

Good morning creative people!
Welcome to a Beauty morning with me, MaJo :) Every Thursday I'll delight you with gorgeously packed beauty products (and every now and then, I'll even throw you a beauty secret).

The other day I was looking around when I found the image below.

I was struck by the beautiful and trendy color palette, as well as for the simple but pretty silhouette illustrations. I did a little more digging and discovered it is Cowshed's new brand... or as they called it, it's "naughty little sister." Please meet Cheeky :)

Beauty Breakdown / / Top Shop

Good morning creative people!

This week I want to show you some makeup products I found in Top Shop. They immediately caught my attention for their monochromatic packaging with sketched-style illustrations. I find the overall look very modern and chic. What do you think?

How cute are the sketched raindrops?

Good morning creative people!

Ok… I don't know about you, but I'm a huge clean-hands freak. It bothers me not to be able to wash them whenever I want when out and about so I can't leave my house with a pocket sanitizer. There are many out there, but some of my favourite (for their fragrances and cute labels) are those sold by Bath and Body Works. Here are some of my favourites:

I also love the cute and quirky holders they sell. They the ideal way to make a cleaning product fashionable. Wouldn't you like carrying your sanitizer in one of these?

Beauty Breakdown / / eos

Good morning creative people!
Welcome to a Beauty morning with me, MaJo :) Every Thursday I'll delight you with gorgeously packed beauty products (and every now and then, I'll even throw you a beauty secret).

Today's packaging is as minimal as it gets, but smooth to the touch, bright and fun! I'm talking about eos' (evolution of smooth) lip balms and hand cream packaging. eos products are 100% natural and 95% organic, how amazing is that? What I love the most about them is how the material feels and the amazing vivid variety of colours and yummy flavours you can find them in.

Isn't this image fun? I really enjoy the playfully styled images they come up with… just check their instagram feed to see some more :)

Beauty Breakdown / / Tay Shop

Good morning creative people!
Welcome to a Beauty morning with me, MaJo :) Every Thursday I'll delight you with gorgeously packed beauty products (and every now and then, I'll even throw you a beauty secret).

There's nothing I like the most than hand-crafted, eco-friendly, and beautiful products. When it comes to beauty products, they win my highest appreciation when they not only fulfil the above requirements but are also made with natural ingredients. Well, it doesn't happen everyday that I find such products but his time I was lucky. Tay skin care seems to be one of the few that recognises value and invests in making beauty products with the best botanical ingredients that are presented to the public in beautifully designed packaging. But that's not all, their packaging design created by award-winning Sarah Tay is also sustainable; yes! It isn't just nice to look at, it is make with 100% eco-friendly bamboo and recyclable PET plastic containers that are long-lasting and thought to be refilled and reused. The first thing that caught my eye is the wooden natural texture and colour given by the bamboo, and how well it fuses with the minimal graphics that are gorgeous but don't distract from the natural beauty of the material.
