From the quirky to the bizarre, here are my top 8 staircase designs. Some play with your mind (just like the one below!) and some are just plain crazy (I’m possibly referring to the separate staircase for the pets!), but I love every single one of these staircases and would certainly love to hear your views on them. They might not be to everyone’s taste but you can’t deny that they are amazing, each and every one of them! Clarissa Hulse produces absolutely amazing designs for bedding, lampshades and cushions as well as lovely little gift items. I have been an avid follower of her designs since I first came across them at a trade show almost 3 years ago now and find it difficult to put in to words just how much in awe I am of the use of colour in her designs. Attic rooms are probably the most awkward, difficult and challenging spaces in a house. But, in saying that, they can the most beautiful, harmonious and peaceful sanctuaries. I simply can’t wait for the day when I can convert one of my very own.
