Talitha Shipman

Recently Rachael announced that she is now a proud member of the Lilla Rogers Studio. For the next few months we have decided to feature a regular weekly showcase from Lilla's esteemed group of designers & Illustrators. Today we bring you the lovely Talitha Shipman.

Talitha Shipman is an illustrator & graphic designer based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Talitha hand paints some of her illustrations specifically with water colours which gives Talitha a unique signature style. But she tends focused a lot more of her designs on Photoshop but making them look as though they are 100% hand-drawn. Talitha likes to bring in natural hand-drawn textures & patterns into her illustrations which creates a more hand-painted look. Nature is a huge inspirations within Talitha illustrations particularly dogs, birds & flowers as well as people.

Helen Dardik

Helen Dardik is an illustrator based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada but originally from Odessa, Ukraine. Helen works under the name 'One Lucky Helen.' Helen has been creating for as long as she can remember, but didn't fall in love with illustration until she studied graphic design in Canada in 1993. Helen is inspired by books, magazines, creative blogs & her children's drawings. Most of Helen's illustration are worked digitally using Adobe illustrator including surface pattern design, but she also creates paintings which are still within her signature style & soft toys. Jillian Phillips

Jillian Phillips is a freelance graphic designer & illustrator based in Dorset, UK. Jillian has worked in-house designing for childrens' products for many retailers including Mothercare, Debenhams, Marks and Spencer & Adams since 1996. Until a few years ago, she started designing for stationary too for companies such as Paperchase, Madison Park Group & Galison & many more. Then in 2008 she met Lilla Rogers and became part of her studio. Jillian has many other clients including Gap, Hallmark, Waitrose & many more. Jillian tends to work digitally using Illustrator & Photoshop, but sometimes enjoys drawing by hand with pen & ink. You can also find Jillian on Facebook & she also has a blog with weekly posts. Jenn Ski

Jenn Ski is a graphic designer & artist based in Somerville, MA, USA.  Since 2007 Jenn became a dedicated full-time artist creating artwork for prints, cards, bags & more which you can buy on her online Etsy shop. Her illustrations are created using acrylic paints & cut paper, then manipulated on illustrator. Jenn's work seems inspired by 50 textiles combing geometric shapes, letters & lines although sometimes you can find some animal characters in her work. Jenn finds inspiration by reading a variety of blogs daily & writing up her own blog. Jenn has many clients including Hallmark, Land of Nod, P & B Textiles, Readers Digest & many more. Today we are sharing with you more inspiration from the wonderful world of typography, this time in the form of posters! Online site 'The Poster List' offers a wide range of posters including those with a mix of typography & photography. They are a small design company based in sunny California who have a love of typography, colour and textures and all designs are created in house. You can visit them on their website where you can also find other ranges from t-shirts to cards.
