As Rachael is in the middle of planning her own wedding, 'Wedding Wednesdays' are here to help others who are looking for some inspiration for their own big day! If you are looking to make some of your own bits and pieces such as table dressings and quirky decorations or if you can't decide on your colour theme, I have found lots of beautiful images from Pinterest that are sure to inspire you. I have also taken some of my own photographs of buttons that show lovely combinations of colours great for weddings!

Pattern In Nature

When it comes to designing patterns and prints, each designer is inspired by something different but many people often look to nature for inspiration. Think, flowers, trees, animals... But don't limit yourself to common animal prints or floral colours! The world is full of beautiful creatures covered in unusual patterns and vibrant colours, the images below from Pinterest show some great examples of this. Get yourself and your camera to your closest Botanical Garden, Butterfly Garden or even to the zoo and get happy snapping!

Happy Monday everyone!

The designer I am featuring today is Kate Usher, a textile and surface pattern designer who creates amazing wallpapers and print designs that are just fantastic. I love the room sets and how each room is decorated to directly suit the wallpaper theme. My favourite just has to be the circus wallpaper. The elephant standing on the beach ball is just such a brilliantly, funny motif! The sweet shop wallpaper just looks edible! Turn Your Frown Upside Down

Happy Friday everyone! 

We all know that Friday is the best day of the week ... excitement for the night out ahead, sleeping until midday on Saturday and a Sunday roast that causes you to sink into the couch and stay there all afternoon. But why can't this happiness always carry on into the week ahead? Doom and gloom can quickly set in which can cause a downhill spiral of worry, and claiming back the Friday feeling can seem like the hardest thing in the world. 

Sometimes all you need is a positive attitude and you can easily turn your day around. If something is getting you down think about the things that make you happy and remember how great life really is!

New range - Sneak Peek!

Happy December 1st everyone! Countdown to Christmas...

Today is a little one off post to show you my new range of recently developed tea towels. I've just signed off my samples, the full collection will be available from the end of January 2012!

The new signature range consists of six contemporary designs: 'Layered Shapes', 'Scribble Shells', '50's Inspired', 'Quirky Stems', 'Floral Sprigs' & 'Textured Honesty'.
