Heart Gallery - Great of Great Britain!

Some exciting news about a lovely friend of mine to share today! Heart Gallery, based in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire, run by the lovely Alison Bartram; has been nominated as a 'Great of Great Britain'!  Heart Gallery stocks my entire manufacturing range as you can see from the previous post on this blog about Heart Gallery in which Alison has created a beautiful space for them!

Heart Gallery

I recently went to Hebden Bridge, a small, lovely and historical town in a valley just under an hour away from Leeds on the train but not far from Halifax. The town is well know for it's creativity and has many unique gift shops. There is also the 'Heart Gallery' which has a range of contemporary crafts and jewelery and all the designers exhibited here live on average within a 5 miles from Hebden. Rachael also has a beautiful, generous and organised display of her textiles products there. Enjoy :) Hannah

Katie Heeks Designs

A couple of weeks ago, Rachael and I visited the gorgeous Hebden Bridge.  Its a girly girl town full of lovely shops and yummy cafes.  While we were at the Heart Gallery birthday celebration I spotted the wonderful work of Katie Heeks.
Katie is a designer-maker who creates colourful and magical 3D pictures by using laser cutting.
Inspired by nature, her gardens are full of patterns and shapes that creates a beautiful layered picture.  She sometimes has lights installed to them which gives you the chance of having your own little magical world inside this beautiful frame.  I love the rainforest theme, the mixture of the colours shapes and sizes added to the different layers make it wild and amazing.

Five & Fabulous!

One of my favourite stockists, the wonderful @HeartGallery is celebrating it's 5th Birthday... 'Five & Fabulous!' To mark the occasion they are hosting a lovely garden party on the 8th of September 4-8pm.

 

Heart Gallery is a beautiful place to visit right in the center of the lovely Hebden Bridge.
