Hello Everyone! Can you believe it's May already? Today I come to you with some gorgeous inspiration by artist Kirsten Jones. I saw her wonderful work for the first time at the BTCF and I loved it. Her pieces tell a story and are full of a vintage feel and a light aesthetic.
Made out of old envelopes, stamps, dictionary text and maps, these beautiful collages take form to create an image that tell the story of where these materials came from.
I find her work very soothing and interesting to watch, like you can find something different every time you look at them.
I especially love her Shoe collection, it's fun and just lovely. Here is some of her work, I'm sure you're going to love it too! If you'd like to see some more, visit her website. Enjoy! Love Moni

Fabulous Stuff!
Happy Friday everyone!:)
Today I'd like to introduce you all to the wonderful work & products by angelbill.co.uk designed & created by the super talented Kate Toms (a very lovely & modest lady too!)
I first spotted Kate's work last year at the 2010 BCTF & was wowed by it! The range is fun, fresh & just lovely. My stand was right near Kate's again this year so it was really nice & enjoyable too! To find out more about the Angel Bill Trading Company you can visit their website here
I've posted a fair few images, but the work looks even more beautiful in real life.

Georgina Fowler
Hello everyone!
What a beautiful week this has been! The Spring is in full boom (or should I say bloom) and we have finally let our arms out on the fresh air! The best thing about this Thursday is that it's the last working day of the week yay! So today I bring you some beautiful ceramics from another one of our neighbours at the BCTF, Georgina Fowler.
Georgina is a surface pattern designer, that creates brilliant ceramics! Her work is inspired by fairy tales and the surreal. This is all presented in her work in the shapes of animals, colours and shapes.
I really like the clever illustrations that gain a new meaning when put on the softness of ceramics.
If you would like to see a bit more of Georgina, visit her website.
I hope you have a beautiful weekend! Love Moni!

Wonderful Wire...
Following on from Moni's lovely blog post, here are a few more images from the super talented Helaina Sharpley taken at the BCTF. We just LOVE her work! It looks amazing in photos but photos don't do it justice... it really is something you need to physically view it's mind blowing & beautiful, I'd love to commission a piece! (apologies that my photos are a little dark too)
We loved the little royal wedding 'William & Kate' inspired piece too!

Wow Artist!
Hello everyone! As you know Rachael Taylor Designs was part of the BCTF this week. It was really nice meeting different artists and designers there and walking around was a very inspiring treat. In the next few weeks I will be bringing you some of the fantastic exhibitors that we loved.
I would like to start with our ultimate favourite, not only ours, she was actually given the Wow Factor award, voted by the exhibitors of the fair for the most impressive work!
If you haven't heard of her yet, remember her name because her work is amazing!
Meet Helaina Sharpley! She is a designer-maker who creates beautifully detailed 2D and 3D wirework pieces.
There is no better description than to say she illustrates with wire, creating intricate and delicate pieces which are quirky and fun.
Showing a real love for tea and the rituals around it, lots of her work relate to this theme.
Her work is beautiful, refreshing and impressive and I really want one for myself!
Want to see some more! Have a look at her website. You`ll love her too. See you next week, Love Moni!
