New Product Sneak Peek!

Today I thought I'd share a little sneak peek of some new products that I've been developing. I've been so busy with the new e-course and keeping up with my freelance work that I had to put my own product development on hold for a little while.

I'm really excited to be working on some new products, hope you like what you see so far?

(Images are taken with my phone, they are not the best. I'll be posting some styled & press shots once the whole range is complete, hopefully they give you an idea)

Pretty Bitter...

Hey there! Kelly again, one of Rachael's placements that she just can't seem to get rid of! :) The lovely Rachael has asked me to guest blog on Monday's so from now on you'll be getting weekly posts from yours truly. I'm currently in my 3rd year studying Textile Design at the University of Leeds, and as I am constantly researching at the moment, (remember your dissertation anyone?) I will have lots to blog about! Speaking of which...

Pretty Bitter is a stationary brand 'that pushes the envelope' and it's selection of beautiful illustrative stationary combined with insults and bitter wording cerrtainly show how the brand is thinking outside the box. The 'one thing today' pads would be very handy and I particularly love their 'Dirty Doilies' cards which are so pretty and feminine but come with a 'Please write responsibly' warning! If you are not insulted by the end of this blog post, they are obviously not doing their job right. Check them out here. Enjoy! Kelly :)

Check out my own blog here! :)

Happy Friday!

Beautiful Hair

I have been obsessed with french plaits for a while now (I think it comes from having wild hair that often needs taming).  Often we become "one hair do" girls and a french plait or braid is a great way to add a little romance, or texture to your outfit.
Here are a few pics of beautiful hair I found on Pinterest and a video guide of how to do a side plait from lovemegan.com (who by the way has some fab tutorials).  Why not try one tomorrow? Love Moni!

Kyleigh's Papercuts

Meet Kyleigh Orlebar, creator of Kyleigh's Papercuts. This graphic designer has a unique way of turning favourite lyrics, messages or thoughts into lovely art.
Hand or laser cut she shapes the paper into a lovely and usually happy piece which would give an ideal mood to a room and would make a brilliant present.
Here are some of my favourites, visit her online shop to see more! See you tomorrow. Love Moni!

Aztec

Hola!  One of my favourite trends this autumn is the Aztec print.  I love the symmetric shapes with the colour combinations.  I think it's a great way to wear colour when it's cold!  Today I have selected some of my favourite Aztec style pieces this season.  Click on the images if you want to know where they are from.  Have a great day, Love Moni
