BCTF Snapshots!

Here are a selection of snapshots took at the BCTF 2010, it was a great success & a really enjoyable & exhausting three days. The talent & standard of the design there was fab, so I was very lucky to be a part of it. I have lots of new great stockists & exciting projects in the pipeline so thank you BCTF!:)

Busy Bee!

Sorry for the lack of blog posts in the last couple of days, I've been overloaded with freelance work & the preparation for the BCTF starting this weekend!

On the blog next week, I'll feature lots of pictures & info from the event so you can get a sneaky peek at my exhibit!

Jubella.com Feature

I woke up yesterday morning to a lovely email from Jubella.com saying they had wrote a feature about my work. They contacted me a while ago for further information but I wasn't sure when the feature was & I just thought it would be a tiny mention, so it was a really nice suprise to see a fairly big feature with lots of images.

Introducing Seascape...

Seascape Lamps has been manufacturing urban, contemporary modern and retro mid-century lighting for 15 years. Canvas Trials

It's official I've outgrown my little studio... it's full of canvases, boxes, tea towels, aprons & lots of quirky product test samples that I'm developing to expand the 'rachaeltaylordesigns' label. It's been hard work, but I'm really enjoying it.

Trends & Inspiration

Here are a few images taken from the 'Issue 4- Spring Summer' Mudpie trend magazine (I picked up a free sample at Premier Vision, Paris) I've recently been contacted by the lovely, helpful people at Mudpie & I'll be trialing their online trend site next week. Orange!

I'm slightly obsessed with the colour orange! I tend to use it a lot in my own designs & products & I have splashes of orange all around my home too, so when I recently opened up the new Heals magazine I was a happy girl:)

I love some of the products featured in the Heals brochure so I thought I'd share them on the blog today incase you havn't managed to see them yet.
